exhausted!

I am glad to finally put my feet up!
i feel like i spend my whole weekend cleaning and cooking and cleaning and doing laundry and cleaning and- well, you get the point. the sad part is I can't see much improvement around here!
With daddy out of town i am totally spent!
Yesterday i woke up, made pancakes (D's favorite and a must on the weekend!) picked up a bit and took D to his swimming lesson, came back, picked up some more, dusted and swept. later on while the princess napped and big bother had (not so) quiet time i prepped for next week's meals. after S was up from her nap we went swimming (preparing for that alone takes a lifetime!) after swimming made dinner, got the kids ready for bed and decided to relax (big mistake!)
This morning my wonderful children let me sleep in till 8!!! (they are both up usually around 0630) we had breakfast and then went to Costo. After came home and cleaned big bother's room;  i was able to get rid of some broken and ourdated toys! (although my little horder did not make that an easy task!) i washed S's diapers and ran one load of laundry (sadly that wasn't even 30% of the dirty laundry we have!) i also washed all of the cleaning rags an mop pads :) made dinner, as well as the princess's food for the week. A after dinner the kids got a bath, we watched a show and cuddled in bed after that we read (we read our LBC book's!) brushed D's teeth and off to bed, nursed the princess and put her down for the night!
once the kids went to bed i did dishes and mopped.
i hope you are tired after reading my rant, because i sure am! i sure hope Daddy is home soon!
How was your weekend?

This is a monthly subscription of children's books. You pay $24.95 and receive 3 books curated to grow with your child.  I love TLBC because it has introduced us to new books and so far has been a great value (this month's books totaled around $38!) we have Been reading to D since before he could hear us  (in vitro) and continue to do so each and every night, we have however been slow in upgrading the books to meet his developmental needs. another neat thing about TLBC is that they follow a specific theme each month, our theme this month was:

Here are the books we received:

I am very happy with this month's selection. We did not own any of the books and the theme is something I really enjoy doing with my child. I must mention that in the event that you own any of the books you received, they will refund you $10. These books were selected for a 4.5 year old boy.

Yay for weekends!

I love the weekend, i really do. I love not having to get up and rush out of the house while i leave my babies for 8 long hours, I love  pancakes and eggs for breakfasts, I love watching my boy play at the park, I love watching my skinny mini laugh and I love all the fun we have as a family.
Daddy and I don't get to sleep in, there are no sexy dates, fancy parties or even naps for us but our weekends are filled with giggles and the joy that parenthood brings!
Now we have our share of drama, but what fun would that be?

Welcome!

Recently I came across subscription boxes and I am not ashamed to admit that now I am a total  addict! Please don't judge me, after all who doesn't love mail, or cute goodies for their kids?!
I have been spending so much of my free time searching, reviewing, ordering and talking about my subscriptions that I decided to create this blog to share my thoughts with you all and hopefully bring you to the dark side...
